About the Suit

Exp Suit – Freefly and Tunnel Suit: Performance and Comfort at Any Speed


Our Exp suit is designed for skydivers and wind tunnel flyers who value the durability and strength of traditional, non-elastic materials, while still wanting a snug, body-hugging fit.


The suit allows customization of arm and leg widths, making it ideal for those who want to brake, or fly at different speed ranges. The tighter-fit version is recommended for slower flyers who want to increase their speed and don’t need braking.


You can also optionally choose from different elastic insert options, depending on how much flexibility you want. Options include minimal elastic inserts, standard amount, or maximum elastic inserts, allowing you to tailor the suit’s stretch to your preference.


The Exp suit is dynamic and fast when ordered with a little extra width at the calves and forearms, allowing you to use it across wider speed ranges, whether for VFS, Freefly, skydiving, or tunnel flying.


Whether you’re an advanced or pro flyer, the EXP suit will not disappoint!Intrudair introduces the newest EXP series for pro flyers - depending on the type- for skydive and tunnel usage. Our friend, (a professional freeflyer and tunnelflyer, also world record holder) Philip Exner, has been a great help because he controlled the whole development with his personal advice, innovative conception and legendary German precision. He did tests time to time and took care of configuring even for the ultra-fine details of the suit.

 

By desiging the suit we tried to have the minimum elastic elements because the elastic material gets worn out the fastest of all the materials we have by the extremly active tunnel usage. We recommend to have this suit mostly for tunnel instructors, and dynamic flyers. Intudair is proud to have been able to achieve the comfortable feeling while flying in the EXP, which- meantime- also allows free movements with the help of the innovative 3D design and curved tailoring lines.


The main material is 4-Ply taslan, with minimal Brunico VX windproof elastic fragments. The cut tightly follows the body. We reinforced the knees and the elbows with cordura 1000 material, which is an extra option to have. The zippers are windproof YKK.


Intrudair takes a huge care of having strong sewing with soft and smooth elaboration, so that is why the final result will be a suit which has soft fall.

Leg cuff type

Choose between three leg cuff constructions depending on your preferred fit and performance. The Technical option features a foldable and adjustable system that can be worn folded up or down, offering maximum versatility and airflow control. The Normal cuff uses a standard elastic construction for a comfortable, balanced fit and easy use. The Tight + Zipper option provides a close, aerodynamic fit with a zipper for precise adjustment, reducing airflow entry and enhancing performance.

Speed of the Suit

The suit’s fall rate is controlled by the looseness of the fabric in the arms and legs. A loose configuration increases surface area and drag, resulting in a slower fall rate. The normal setting provides a balanced performance. A tight (fast) configuration reduces drag, allowing for a higher fall speed.
